About the project
Father Time, with 0 caps and 0 goals in all of eternity, meets Ella Toone in a black-and-white wasteland of melting clocks. From there the film races through a century of the women's game: Dick, Kerr & Co., Lily Parr as a video-game player card, the Lionesses' headlines, a strike faster than any men's Premier League goal of 2022/23. It closes on ITV's line: History happens faster.
I made motion graphics for it: the ITV Sport text boxes, the biggest winning margin, a scoreline that bursts into flames, and the Chloe Kelly shot styled on The Chase.
